Budget web hosting and domains. Optional for AI builders, which include hosting; useful for a traditional PHP or WordPress site.

Hostinger sells shared web hosting, cloud hosting and domains. You do not need it for a project built in Lovable, Bolt.new, v0, Base44 or Replit, because each of those hosts the app within its own plan, and a custom domain is optional. Hostinger is relevant when you want a traditional host: a WordPress or PHP site, a static site you export from a builder and upload yourself, or a domain registered separately from the builder. The point to read carefully is the pricing. The low headline rate is a promotional price for a long term, and it renews higher. Listed plans, checked 29 September 2026: Premium at $2.99 a month promo (renews at $10.99), Unlimited at $3.99 (renews at $16.99) and Cloud Startup at $7.99 (renews at $25.99), all quoted for a 48-month term, with a free domain for the first year when you commit to a year or more.

Trade-offs

• The lowest price needs a 48-month commitment
• Not needed for apps built in an AI builder, which host the app themselves
• Not aimed at high-traffic edge-deployed apps, where Cloudflare Pages or Vercel fit better

Our take

Hostinger is a reasonable budget host if you specifically want traditional hosting, but AI builders include hosting, so it is optional for most readers. Compare the renewal price, not the promo, before committing to a long term.
