The short answer: Windsurf, now served from Devin’s site as Devin Desktop, costs $0 (Free), $20 a month (Pro), $200 (Max), or $80 a month plus $40 per developer seat for Teams, up to 200 users. Usage is governed by daily and weekly quotas, not credits, and Windsurf publishes no quota sizes. So the price tells you the ceiling on the subscription, not how much work it covers. After the quota, paid plans can buy extra usage at API prices.

The Teams line is the one people misquote: $80 is the base, not the per-seat price. The pricing page says “most users will never hit their limits”, a claim we cannot check.
How the quota works
Devin’s docs say the quota “resets on a daily and weekly basis, based on the calendar date”, with the daily allowance above one-seventh of the weekly one to allow for weekend use. The budget is “based on how many tokens the model uses for each request”, the cost per token varies by model, and free models do not count. Free users wait for the next reset. Paid users can “purchase extra usage”, billed at API list prices per token, with faster or priority settings costing more. The remaining quota shows in the usage meter in the app or on your plan page.
Windsurf replaced credits with quotas in its 18 March 2026 announcement, which listed Teams at $40 a seat; the current page adds the $80 base. Older articles that talk about credits per month describe the legacy plans.

At the entry paid tier it matches Cursor and Claude Pro at $20 and costs twice Copilot Pro. Whether that buys more or less work cannot be settled from published figures.
